SSC Grading Scale
A+ = 80–100 marks (GPA 5.00) · A = 70–79 (4.00) · A- = 60–69 (3.50) · B = 50–59 (3.00) · C = 40–49 (2.00) · D = 33–39 (1.00) · F = below 33 (0.00, fail). This scale, introduced in 2001, is unified across all SSC, Dakhil, and equivalent boards.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How is SSC GPA calculated?
- Grade points of compulsory subjects are summed and divided by the subject count; the 4th subject only adds the portion of its grade point above 2.00.
- What is the SSC grading scale?
- A+ (80–100, GPA 5.00) down to F (below 33, GPA 0.00) — see the full scale above.
- Does the 4th subject always help?
- Only if it scores above a C (grade point above 2.00). Otherwise it adds nothing, so including it never hurts your GPA.
